If you visit Maui, you must do the Haleakala Bike Ride. Don't worry, it's not physically difficult. It is an early morning though! They pick you up at your hotel in the wee hours of the morning (I think it was around 3:00 am for us). But, it's worth it went you get to the top of the volcano to watch the sunrise. You're decked out in the tour company clothes to stay warm. After the sunrise, you start the bike ride down. As you pass through climatic zones, you start shedding the heavy clothes! The views, foliage, and entire experience is so unforgettable. It's truly a unique activity that you may never get the opportunity to do again. I definitely recommend it. You'll be so glad you did!
