On your next trip to Paris, make a reservation at the hottest restaurant in town, Chez Sasha. Be warned, Chez Sasha is not your typical paris restaurants. But you will have all the components you need for an excellent meal: good food, great wine, wonderful conversation, and an interesting atmosphere. You’ll enjoy a vrai homemade French meal in a vrai French home. Sasha, a ceramic artist, opens her home to travellers from all over the world. Her home is filled with beautiful works of art and is the perfect atmosphere for the most interesting and art-filled dinner you’ll have all year.
Before dinner begins you’ll enjoy aperitifs in the living room, where the mood is set with a little piano music from Sasha’s baby grand piano. A champagne toast starts the night off right, and is exactly what everyone needs to get the conversation flowing. For dinner you’ll move into the dining room, where you’ll be surrounded by stacks of colorful and beautiful ceramics, piled high all around the room. You could dine with a couple from Australia or sisters from Brussels—whoever it is, the conversation is always lively and interesting. Good conversation is just as important as good food, which is in never ending supply at Chez Sasha. As the delicious courses continue, so will the funny anecdotes with your dining companions. These strangers at the beginning of the night, now seem like old friends.
Chez Sasha is just one of many “venues” from VoulezVousDiner. Renaud Maigne started the company to give lonely travellers other options than the hotel buffet. His solution? Local people serving delicious homemade meals in their homes to travellers and tripists. Which turned out to be a perfectly paired course. VoulezVousDiner now operates in multiple cities and is great option for anyone looking to eat some great food and make some new friends.
