Bastille Day, formally called la fête nationale and commonly known as le quatorze juillet to native Parisians, is the holiday that commemorates the 1790 fête de la Fédération, held on the first anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, on July 14, 1789. If you’re in Paris, you won’t want to miss the parade held on the morning of July 14 on the Champs Elysées, and of course the fireworks below the Eiffel Tower in the evening. Here are two perfect chic summer outfits from Bergdorf Goodman, both keeping the chic bleu, blanc et rouge theme of Paris fashion. We like the lines of this long skirt, fitted to be flattering, and keeping the top simple. The soft peasant top is one of our favorites, especially when paired with crisp white jeans, the staple of a fashionable summer wardrobe.
