Paris Fashion: Boyish Charm
Fri 1 Nov 2013
For a few seasons, boyish looks have been a Paris fashion hit. This fall/winter, we found some gorgeous oversized coats, trouser suits and derby shoes to easily construct a chic boyish look. A boyish look can be sexy and feminine—the key is to create a silhouette that is a balanced mix of masculine and feminine pieces.
Here are two ideas for wearing an ultrachic boyish look.
Look 1: Masculine coat, skirt and heels
This look captures the mood perfectly, with an oversized coat and a white shirt against a sexy leather skirt and heels. The effect is cool and seductive.

Look 2: Oversized double-breasted coat, striped pants and capeline
This look has a feminine touch created by the capeline and the well-fitted pants with navy blue and burgundy stripes. The oversized coat and the simple top reflect the casual attitude of a boy, but the trousers and the ankle boots emphasize the feminine details—an effortlessly poetic match.
