Dream Weekend in Paris

My own maison in Southwestern France, you TOO can have one!

After hosting a very successful webinar called Buying the Dream in 2015, to introduce interested parties to the idea that buying a place in Paris or a villa in France is possible and not as expensive or difficult as you might think, we’ve decided to make a thing of it. There hasn’t been a better time to buy in over a decade and that’s why I want to personally invite you to learn more.

Come for a long weekend in Paris to learn how to buy from a panel of experts including; notaires (French real estate lawyers), realtors, tax specialists, rental agents and expats who live here.

Before and after our Saturday seminar Girls’ Guide to Paris and yours truly will entertain you with all that Paris has to offer, so even if you decide that buying is not for you, I promise you’ll have a spectacular time!
Purpose: To learn in detail and to ask questions from the experts on how to buy an apartment or a maison in France. Plus to have a wonderful vacation in Paris.
Cost: $1275 – $1500 (price will go up after 2/15/2015)

Itinerary:
Thursday 4/16: Arrive and check-in. Free time until we meet for dinner. You will have GG2P walking trips to explore area of your choice. Drinks at my home on the Ile St. Louis. Dinner on the island. Stroll after dinner to see the incredible gothic back of Notre Dame.\

Le Marais

Friday 4/17 : 3 Meet for breakfast. Optional trips to pre-select;

1) Shopping the discount stores and stock shops with Doni
2) Exploring the historic side of the Marais
3) Foodie tasting trip

We can set up a VIP shopping trip at Galeries Lafayette for anyone who desires.
Dinner at your leisure.

Saturday 4/18 11-4pm Real Estate seminar with specialty gurus to cover: inheritance issues, rental overview, French tax law, SCI’s, the part of the Notaire, a contractor and fix-up expert and an overall real estate market over view. We will include a tantalizing slide show of properties available now from cheap to lux. Includes 1 hr lunch break with lunch provided.
Dinner on your own.

Sunday 4/19 Cooking class and market trip with a local host in the Canal St. Martin or Montmartre area.

5pm VIP visit to the Musee D’Orsay to learn about the American Friend’s org. and to enjoy a private trip. Dinner on your own, pamphlet of suggestions provided for all meals not taken together.

Monday 4/20 Reserved entire day to see properties based on wish list and budget, which will be pre-filled out when you register.

Celebratory drinks and dinner together at Hei Kei on the Canal St. Martin. Special guests at our cocktails will include several expats who have created enriching lives in Paris. If you want to look in a region beyond Paris, depart on Monday early to look Monday afternoon and Tuesday in your chosen region of France.
