It is less recognized as the bustling urban metropolis brimming with professionals that it also is. Long days in this major city encourage the international pastime of early evening drinks better known as happy hour. Here are some Paris bars that host the best happy hours, where you’ll get great bang for your euro.
Chez Vous

Situated on the quiet rue Choron just off the busy rue des Martyrs is the cozy Chez Vous. Until 8 p.m., you can settle in the back on the quilted couch or at rustic wooden tables and sip on €5 cocktails, beer or champagne. Because the restaurant does not get busy until the dinner crowd arrives (reservations are recommended), the attentive service, soft music and homey atmosphere make you feel like you are actually chez vous.
Le Mademoiselle

If you’re looking for something with a bit more jaunt, a fun option would be to round up the girls for drinks at le Mademoiselle. This girlish bar casts hues of red and pink and pulls in a strong happy hour crowd. Between 4 p.m. and 9 p.m., enjoy creative cocktails infused with tea, herbs and premium liquor, with coquettish names like Bad Girl and Ladies’ Night. Le Motel

Café le Baron
