Paris Shopping: Seen on the Streets of Paris

I am in love with the variety of boots being strutted around the boulevards of Paris. Good boots are a weekend must for strolling around the markets by Ledru Rollin, going to brunch in Belleville or doing a little Paris shopping in le Marais.

With the changeable weather, ankle boots have been proving a hit come rain or shine. Some are beautifully embellished. Of the pairs I spotted, my favorite was cowboy influenced and embroidered with an explosion of flowers. It was as though spring had scrawled all over the wearer’s feet. This pair would be gorgeous with a white broderie anglaise sundress.

There were also quite a few feather adornments and fringes, but the most popular boot styles were still classic and chic. Ever-chic Parisians. Ankle-skimming black suede wedges look polished with a pair of dark denim skinny jeans, and high tan boots complemented a lady’s all-black ensemble.
