The trip doesn't officially begin until the evening of May 13th, but if you’re traveling across the ocean to get to Paris, consider arriving a day early to relax and adjust to the local time zone. You can easily book this extra night under the Add-On Section on the website, and we’ll ensure that you are kept in the same room that you will be in for the trip.
We will have a zoom call about 6 weeks before the trip starts to discuss all that information and give you a packing list. Here is a great website that we love that will help you with packing and travel trips.
Paris in May is delightful with pleasant weather. The average temperature hovers around 60°F, with midday highs reaching up to 70°F and nightly lows around 52°F. Expect about nine hours of sunshine each day, increasing as the month progresses. It's a wonderful time to enjoy the city's outdoor cafes, gardens, and scenic walks along the Seine.
The European Union will soon require travelers from visa-exempt countries like the U.S. and Canada to obtain travel authorization before entering most EU countries. This new system, called ETIAS, is expected to start sometime in 2025, but exact dates have not been announced.
Since ETIAS is not yet in effect, there’s nothing you need to do right now. We will update all Girls' Guide customers as soon as applications open.
