The trip officially begins tomorrow, October 16th, in Rabat. But as you're flying in to Casablanca, you might want to get a taste of Morocco's largest city. So we're offering a quick pre-trip extension to see some highlights of Casablanca.

We’ll provide Fast Track VIP service at the airport, ensuring a smooth and efficient arrival. After a warm welcome, you’ll be transferred to the elegant Le Casablanca Hotel, where you can relax, unwind by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, or get some rest after a long flight.

In the evening, we’ll gather for a memorable dinner at Dar Dada, a renowned restaurant celebrated for its exceptional Moroccan cuisine and inviting atmosphere. This will be the perfect introduction to the rich flavors and culture that await you.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a visit to the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most iconic mosques in the world. Perched dramatically on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, this architectural masterpiece boasts breathtaking views and intricate details that will leave you speechless. As we explore its stunning halls, delicate mosaics, and soaring minarets, you’ll feel the grandeur of Morocco’s cultural heritage.

Following this unforgettable experience, we’ll head to La Sqala for a traditional Moroccan lunch featuring fragrant tagines, fresh seafood and perfectly spiced pastillas. 

After lunch, we’ll make our way to Rabat, where we'll check in to the Story Rabat, Here, we’ll meet the rest of our travelers who didn't join the pre-trip extension, and together, we’ll kick off the main leg of our Moroccan adventure. Get ready for an exciting journey filled with vibrant sights, sounds, and stories!

The trip officially starts today! If you haven’t arrived early for the pre-trip extension in Casablanca, you’ll be met at the Casablanca airport and whisked to Rabat, just an hour away.

Upon arrival, we’ll check into the exquisite Story Rabat. Stroll through lush gardens, take a dip in the sparkling pool, or simply savor the tranquil ambiance.

This evening, we’ll come together for a warm and festive welcome dinner at our stunning hotel. It’s the perfect chance to connect with fellow travelers while indulging in the vibrant flavors of Moroccan cuisine—a delicious introduction to the unforgettable journey ahead!

This morning, we’ll dive into Rabat’s rich history, beginning at the Chellah Necropolis, a hauntingly beautiful site steeped in centuries of stories. From there, we’ll visit the Yacoub al-Mansour Esplanade, home to two iconic landmarks: the King’s Mausoleum, built in 1971 to honor King Hassan II, Prince Abdallah, and King Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower, an incomplete yet stunning red sandstone minaret dating back to 1195 AD.

Our exploration continues at the Kasbah des Oudayas, an Almohad fortress built in 1150 AD, where you can soak in its charm and admire sweeping views of the Bou Regreg River.

For lunch, we’ll head to Dar Naji, a Moroccan gem offering authentic dishes and a memorable tea-pouring performance to close the meal.

This afternoon, we’ll journey to Tangier, a scenic 4.5-hour drive through Morocco’s ever-changing landscapes. Upon arrival, we’ll check into the elegant Riad Mokhtar, our home for the night we will have time to relax and refresh after the journey, taking in the serene atmosphere of this beautiful property.

Later, we’ll gather for dinner on-site at M Restaurant, enjoying a delicious meal to close out the day. 

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we’ll visit the American Legation Museum, a landmark of history. Fun fact: Morocco was the first country to recognize the USA’s independence back in the 1700s! We’ll take a guided tour of the museum before enjoying a delightful lunch at the stunning Villa Mabrouka.

Next, we’ll journey toward Chefchaouen, the enchanting blue city, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Famous for its vibrant blue-washed buildings, narrow winding streets, and picturesque alleyways, Chefchaouen exudes a peaceful charm that captures the essence of Morocco. Upon arrival, you’ll check into the luxurious Riad Lina Ryad & Spa, a haven of comfort and tranquility.

In the evening, we’ll take a guided walk through the town, where you’ll be enchanted by the city’s unique blue hues. Your guide will share insights into the town’s fascinating history and culture, and you’ll have time to explore its charming shops and markets.

To wrap up the day, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at Casa Hassan, a renowned local restaurant serving traditional Moroccan dishes in a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to experience the flavors of the region while unwinding after a day of exploration.

This morning, we’ll embark on an easy and scenic hike through Akchour National Park, surrounded by lush greenery, towering cliffs, and crystal-clear water springs. As we walk, we’ll enjoy breathtaking views of tranquil waters and rugged mountains, with the highlight being the stunning Pont de Dieu (God’s Bridge), a natural rock formation that spans across the water. For those who prefer not to hike, a peaceful, shaded area will be available to relax and enjoy the serene beauty of the park.

After the hike, we’ll enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch by the water springs. Surrounded by nature’s calm, we’ll indulge in homemade tajines and locally sourced ingredients, with the fresh air and soothing sounds of the water enhancing the experience. The peaceful setting creates the perfect atmosphere for savoring this delicious meal.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to Chefchaouen for a guided tour. Learn the art of rug-making from local artisans and explore the picturesque kasbah, perfect for capturing stunning photos along the way.

In the evening, unwind with a luxurious spa treatment. Experience the traditional hammam ritual, beginning with a black soap cleanse and invigorating cold-water rinse, followed by an exfoliating scrub and a Moroccan volcanic clay mask. The ritual concludes with a soothing massage using Morocco’s precious oils, leaving you relaxed and rejuvenated.

After breakfast, we’ll say goodbye to the “Blue Pearl” and journey to Fes, Morocco’s ancient cultural capital. Founded in 781 AD, Fes is home to the world’s largest car-free urban area and is proudly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

The drive will take around 5 hours, so we’ll make an enriching stop along the way at Volubilis, the well-preserved Roman ruins near the city. After exploring the ancient site, we’ll indulge in a leisurely lunch followed by a wine tasting at a nearby local vineyard, enjoying the flavors of the region.

Upon arriving in Fes, we’ll check into our charming riad and gather for a delicious group dinner. The evening will feature a carefully crafted menu of traditional Moroccan dishes, showcasing the rich and aromatic flavors of the region. Expect a mix of tender tagines, flavorful couscous, and freshly baked bread, all served in the welcoming ambiance of our riad’s intimate dining space. This will be the perfect opportunity to unwind, share stories, and enjoy the vibrant tastes of Morocco after a day of travel and exploration.

Our home for the next few days will be the beautiful Fes Maya Palace.

After breakfast, we’ll dive into the rich history of Fes, where every corner feels like a step back in time. The city’s ancient streets are alive with unique sights, sounds, and smells, offering a truly immersive experience. Our day will take us to the heart of Fes, starting with a visit to the medina, a labyrinth of narrow streets filled with bustling markets. 

We’ll then explore the Medersa (old school), a stunning example of Islamic architecture, before heading to the legendary tanneries, where ancient methods are still used to create the beautiful Moroccan leather for clothing, shoes, and bags. We’ll also visit the University of Al Quaraouiyine, the world’s oldest continually operating educational institution, founded in 859 AD, where we’ll gain insight into its important role in the Islamic world.

We’ll break for a delicious lunch in the medina, allowing you to savor the flavors of the region before continuing our exploration of the souks and artisan quarters, where skilled craftsmen create everything from intricate pottery to beautiful textiles.

In the evening, you’ll have the chance to learn the art of preparing a traditional Moroccan tajine. After your culinary adventure, we’ll gather around the table to enjoy the fruits of your labor, sharing a delicious homemade meal with your fellow travelers. It’s the perfect way to end a day of discovery and culture in the enchanting city of Fes.

After a relaxed breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning to soak in more of the city's charm before we head out for a truly unforgettable experience. You’ll visit a traditional Fasi family, where you'll be welcomed into their home to try on stunning Moroccan dresses and get a traditional henna design, just like the women do before their weddings. Imagine the intricate designs and vibrant colors as you transform into part of this rich culture. A professional photographer will be there to capture every beautiful moment, ensuring you have incredible photos to take home as lasting memories of this unique experience.

Afterward, we’ll indulge in a delightful traditional lunch, filled with local flavors and dishes, before heading back to your hotel to unwind.

To end this spectacular day, we’ll gather for an exquisite farewell dinner at the renowned Sahrai, where the ambiance, flavors, and views will make for a perfect conclusion to your Moroccan journey. It will be a night to remember, filled with warmth, laughter, and memories of a truly magical experience.

After breakfast, those ending their trip here in Fes will bid farewell to new friends and all the sights and sounds of the past week’s adventures. 

We’ll transfer you back to the Casablanca Airport for your departure flight. It’s a 4-hour drive, so please make your return flight for the late afternoon or evening to ensure plenty of time to get to the airport and for customs and security.

For those continuing their journey, we’ll travel to Marrakech by car, arriving at the enchanting La Maison Arabe, a luxurious retreat that sets the tone for this next chapter of your adventure. We will stop along the way for lunch. 

After checking in and settling into your fabulous accommodations, we’ll head out to explore the captivating Majorelle Gardens, a serene oasis filled with exotic plants and vibrant colors from around the globe. Adjacent to the gardens is the YSL Museum, showcasing the visionary works of Yves Saint Laurent, alongside the fascinating Berber Museum, which celebrates the rich culture and artistry of Morocco’s indigenous people.

As evening falls, we’ll make our way to the lively Djemaa el Fna Square, the heart of Marrakech’s vibrant nightlife. Under the glow of lanterns, storytellers weave their magic, juice vendors offer tantalizing flavors, and musicians fill the air with mesmerizing rhythms.

Your guide will lead you on an exclusive food tour through the medina, where you’ll savor a variety of delectable dishes from the city’s finest street vendors—a true feast for the senses and a perfect introduction to Marrakech’s culinary treasures.

After a leisurely breakfast, we’ll dive into the heart of Marrakesh's old city, where history and vibrant culture collide. Our expert guide will lead us on a fascinating walking tour of the city’s most iconic monuments, unveiling their rich stories and architectural splendor.

As we meander through the bustling medina, we’ll pause for lunch in an authentic local spot, soaking in the sights, sounds, and aromas that make Marrakech unforgettable. Then, it’s time to lose yourself in the lively souks, a treasure trove of Moroccan wonders. From fragrant spices to intricately woven carpets, colorful ceramics, and handcrafted leather goods, every corner holds something to captivate. Your guide will be there to help you haggle like a pro and uncover the best finds.

After an enchanting day of exploration and shopping, we’ll return to the tranquil sanctuary of La Maison Arabe. Here, we’ll savor a sumptuous dinner, reminiscing about the vibrant experiences of the day.

Bid farewell to your new friends, driver, and guide. If flying home from Marrakech, the airport is a short drive. If you're returning from Casablanca airport, it's a ~4.5-5 hour drive, so please make your departing flight in the evening to ensure plenty of time to get to the airport and for customs clearance and security.
