You'll want to fly into Sydney International Airport.
Our trip ends in Cairns so you will want to fly out of the Cairns Airport either back to Sydney, home, or beyond.
The trip officially starts on September 10, 2025, but if you are traveling across an ocean to get to Sydney, consider arriving a day early so you have time to relax and adjust to the local time zone. If you do decide to arrive early, please let us know and we will book the room for you and make sure that you stay in the same room until the trip starts.

Sydney in September is a beautiful time of year. The temperature ranges from the low 50's at night to the mid 70's during the day.
Cairns in September is a fantastic time of year and is considered spring time. Temperatures will range from the low 70's to mid 80's. And the water temperature in the sea for snorkeling is close to 80 degrees.
U.S. citizens must apply for a valid Australian visa to enter the country. Fortunately, U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for the Australia ETA (Electronic Travel Authority, Subclass 601), which can be done entirely online. Our team will assist you with the process.
Yes, there are activities on the water. If you are prone to motion sickness, please bring appropriate medications, acupressure bands, and any personal remedies you prefer; alternatively, let us know if you would like to opt out of the water activities, and we can gladly find you something else to do.
